Our History
In 1985, Berg Activewear founder Ralph Berg went to Boston in a green station wagon, and came back with some barebones screenprinting equipment and said “let's print some shirts!” After a few failures, set-backs and other learning experiences we were well on our way.
In 1988 we bought our first computer system.
In 1990 we added an automatic t-shirt press capable of screenprinting 60 dozen shirts per hour.
In 1992 we added a full scale embroidery department.
In 2000 Ralph Berg passed away unexpectedly and his son Robert & Heather Berg took over the business. Since then Berg Activewear has grown modestly by adding new equipment and expanding our sales force, office staff, and customer base.
